WHY THE CHANGE TO MY PLAN?
The Federal Government requires the Fund to transmit prescription drug data on a yearly basis. To do that, a special program is required that must be compatible with the Federal Program. The Fund cannot access their Program and had to partner with a company that can transmit the required data.
WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE COMPANY?
The Fund has partnered with Sav-Rx.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET MY PRESCRIPTION?
You will be receiving an I.D. Card that will have your Name, ID Number and Group Number. When you pick-up your prescription, show the pharmacist your I.D. Card. At the time of purchase the prescription is processed at the discounted rate. You will pay 100% of the cost. You will be reimbursed 90% of the cost by Sav-Rx when you submit your claim.
HOW CAN I GET MY REIMBURSEMENT?
At the time of purchase, you can use your phone to access the Sav-Rx Direct Reimbursement Form (DMR) through their portal or QR Code, or you can email Sav-Rx the receipt through a secure web site. You can also mail the receipt for reimbursement to Sav-Rx.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT TO GET THE REFUND?
Sav-Rx processes members reimbursements on a 10-day cycle. You have one-year from date of purchase to submit the receipt for reimbursement.
HOW DO I CONTACT SAV-Rx TO GET MY REIMBURSEMENT?
Sav-Rx will be mailing each eligible participant an I.D. Card along with a Welcome Kit with information on how to file a claim.
CAN I SEND THE RECEIPT TO THE TRUST OFFICE FOR A REIMBURSEMENT IF I LOST MY ID CARD?
No. If you purchased the prescription after December 1, 2024, you cannot send your receipt to the H & W Fund for reimbursement. Your prescription drug claim can only be processed by Sav-Rx. You will be receiving a Welcome Kit and I.D. Card from Sav-Rx with information on how to file a claim for reimbursement.
